I have a friend who pointed this song out to me, and said the opening line is very much the mindset of the skeptic. Its like once I've burnt down everyone else's beliefs, theories, dogmas, faiths, pursuits -- when they all lie in ash and I am successful in my skepticism -- well then of course it is time to set myself on fire.
